Speedbicycles rating may support in determinate condition and value of collectable bikes:

1: Concours condition
in every respect. Either professionally restored or very well maintained. Like new (or better).

2: Good condition
original or well-restored. Frame shows only very light wear. All original parts.

3: Used
Frame shows wear and/or light rust but no serious damage. Original parts show wear. Rideable without work.

4: Badly worn
Heavy wear and/or rust. Parts replaced or defective. Not rideable, but can be restored with minor work.

5: for restoration
Heavy wear and/or serious rust. Parts missing. Disassembled or poorly restored. Requires major work.

6: Discarded metal
Collectable only for display use or if it is very rare.
